Our story begins in the woods with five kittens under tall pine trees. The kittens found a place to live in a hollowed out fallen down tree on the back of the tree, so nothing can get in it. The kittens would probably smell sap, mice, wood and fir tree smell. They hear little rustlings in the blackberries and undergrowth. It is spring and they can see the high mountaintop of a tall mountain overlooking the pine and fir forest.
The first kitten is black and white and it is fluffy and small and it likes exploring. The second kitten is not so fluffy. It likes sleeping, eating, milk and being petted. The third kitten is very, very fluffy and it is orange, black and white. The fourth kitten likes playing around and is not very fluffy. It likes chasing, climbing and scaring other kittens. The fifth kitten likes to sleep, eat, drink milk and to sharpen his claws.
Some people hiking in the forest saw the kittens. They tried to catch the kittens. But the humans get lost in the forest.
The humans got lost because the kittens looped them around a pine tree and two kittens went one way and two kittens went the other way. The fifth kitten was back in the log sleeping.
The people try to find the kittens. They fail to find the kittens. The kittens returned to the log and woke up the other kitten and told him what happened.
The kittens felt happy that they didn’t get captured and had to eat kibble.
